Employee Testimonial
“I’m the manager of the ‘Run the Business’ team within Technology, so my main responsibility is to ensure the stability and round-the-clock availability of D&B International’s online services. Recently, the focus has been on DBAI. This is a web-based subscription service which allows customers to manage new and existing customer portfolios and to download or print off business information reports. It's one of D&B International’s main revenue systems, so it has a high availability requirement and very strict service level agreements.
I joined D&B for the second time in June 2006 as a contractor, and became permanent in February 2007. I started in this role in August 2007. I actually started working the first time for D&B in the late ‘80s. After about 15 years with D&B, I was outsourced to one of our vendors; and spent three years furthering my career in a pre sales role. When the opportunity arose to come back to D&B, I gladly took it.
Everyone gets on very well together in the Technology team: there’s a great camaraderie and sense of team spirit which I really value. I know that when times get busy, everyone will chip in and help each other out. The atmosphere here is easy-going, but with a clear focus of getting things done and doing what’s right for the customer.
The important thing to remember about D&B is that they allow you to grow and will always do what's best for you. This is an organisation which firmly believes in a winning culture, so they invest time in people in order to make it a brighter and better organisation for everyone.”
