By anonymously sharing ledger information with D&B's Trade Reporting Programme, participants can access timely and accurate credit information about your customers' payment history.
D&B's Trade Reporting Programme allows you to:

Some 6,100 companies and 300 banks currently participate in the world wide programme. On average, D&B has about 560,000,000 experiences flowing through the database each year, with approximately 62,000,000 experiences resident in the database at any given time.
How it works
Simply download the data from your accounts-receivable system to the electronic medium of your choice, and we'll do the rest. With this one simple operation, you've completed all your D&B reporting for the month.
We can use any of the following accounts receivable files:
- Aged trial balances that are aged per terms; or
- Either open or open and paid invoice files. We use the information you provide to develop a more accurate picture of your customers' payment habits. You'll get a representative sample of the information to check and approve before it is recorded in our files. If one of your customers questions the information, we will ask you to check your records in confidence.
What we give back to our Trade Partners
When a company becomes a Trade Partner they receive free of charge access to our Trade Web Area. This is a ‘shared information network’ that gives 24 hour access to confidential information that is not available from any other source. It allows our partners to analyse the payment habits of their customers and see how they are paying the other companies that they are dealing with compared to how they are paying them. It also allows them to discover the important characteristics of their customer base, and benchmark their collection policies against other companies.
